I explained their reasons for that earlier, but as I emphasized, I really don't care one way or another on this poll.
But I will say one of them has been a member of this site since the very beginning. He/She is NOT a grab-a-team and bolt type GM.
But I really am 100% done with this one now - poll's up, if you have a problem, vote, if not, don't.

That's kind of my point. These things have all been talked about before, and if there are people that really feel that way I don't understand why the didn't just bring it up themselves instead of bitch about it to people that aren't even here anymore. It's not like we're going to kick people off the league for starting a discussion. And Pens and Phoenix aren't going to get mad at people who bring this discussion up again. It's been done before and I can guarantee it'll be done again. So the whole not wanting to oppose Pens/Yotes thing is bogus.

Okay, since this was a direct question asked to me, I will answer it, but not as a continuation of this mess, but as an answer.
They did bring it up before, and it was discussed, but never brought to a vote. When 2 of these individuals mentioned that to me, I said, so, create a damned poll. They said they didn't want to get in shit, so I called them cowards and made the poll. That's pretty much it...

My Team came 2nd last in the league, and i voted to keep it the same.. fuck a restart. were on season 27. and people have worked HARD to get their teams where they are..

We never claimed that this was a democracy. I don't want to be changing things every other year to entertain acouple people that don't want to do the work to compete here. Only time things are held to a vote is when myself and PIT come up with acouple options that we would consider. We built it and they came. End of story. Have a nice day.

Really don't understand this. You come here, after being out of the league for like 3 years, and try to purpose a dramatic change, based on what 4 people told you. I'd love to know the 4 people, cause I'd bet they aren't very active.
And JM is Hitler because he doesn't want the league to die, makes sense. You'd lose more than 4 people if you did a restart, including one of the top guys. I'd much rather those 4 bitch and complain or just leave rather then have important members leave.

@jmcook - You are obsessive over this power trip thing. I think it has to do with problems in your personal life that you have no control over. So controlling things on a sim site makes you feel empowered. This is not an insult, just something I have observed over time, and think it is fascinating. Wynne - Retired Flyers GM - I see you still love the taste of admin penis, as has always been the case. Kinda figured you'd grow out of that one after 4 years, but alas, some things never change. You've still got a bit on your chin there. @detroit - do your research - I offered to literally drop the rating of every single player on my team by 10 overalls to avoid losing any of them. I build teams I like, not teams with talent. |
