See my previous comment. It's more important than continuing this useless banter.

See my previous comment. It's more important than continuing this useless banter. Correcting inaccuracies is not useless banter. For someone who claims to have "no further interest in being involved in this debate," the fact that you are still involved says otherwise.

I provided you a suggestion based on the information provided to me by you, Cook, and the 4 GMs I talked to earlier.
I have nothing additional to add unless you want to discuss those suggestions further.

No successful league has Crosby/Ovechkin/Malkin moving teams often. Everyone I'm sure would love to have the guys they like on their team, but can't happen all the time, oh well.
It's the same garbage every time, it's not worth arguing.

Posting a poll is arguing?

Posting a poll is arguing? Everything else after the fact was.

We are still ignoring my suggestion beyond the poll. Can we at least acknowledge that you saw it?

Could you see why I'm not sold on the idea on giving a member who rarely came on in the past 3 years Wayne Gretzky for depth in which I would just lose? If you HAVE Wayne Gretzky, you are the HAVES. You are not who this poll is directed at. If I had Crosby, Ovechkin, Nash, Gretzky, Lemieux, etc, I would have no interest in restarting either. But the majority of the league, from what I hear, are not the Haves. Only the staff are. Again, only what I hear. I am a neutral observer here. To be fair I'm staff and have finished outside the playoffs for the last ~5 seasons. I used to want to re-start, but since starting school, if Pens and Phoenix were to tell me we were re-starting tomorrow, I'd quit. I know myself, and others, just don't have the amount of time we used to have. Starting over would take much too long. It's the same reason I haven't joined a new league in god knows how long. I've been PM'd a couple of times lately (once from Michael Aldred, once from our Buffalo GM) with them asking me to join their leagues and I just don't have the time for it. This league isn't just about the simming, and being a GM anymore. It's become a good place to talk about hockey with people I've known for a few years now.

I kind of skimmed these posts and the people you seemed to get your info from are the people who have no ambition to dedicate time to a league. They want big name players to make life easier for them. Aldred is one of those guys who barely ever posted on here. He actually barely ever posts on any league he joins, I find. He did the same thing on Spitty's.
I rarely posted on here my first few seasons and my team wasn't very good. Took me quite a few seasons but I finally got them to win a cup, and than another. Put some time and effort and you'll get better.

I don't understand how you can't see how I have zero interest in doing so. I did NOT start off with anything. I BUILT my team. TWICE. It can be done. It is not my fault the other teams are not as active or do not know how to get the talent off the other teams.
I understand why from your point of view there is this 'haves' vs 'have-nothing' concept, but to be honest, these 'haves' guys are the guys who have stuck with this league for 3 years now and have helped build it to what it is today. The 'have-nots' just showed up and some felt they deserved Gretzky, Crosby, Ovechkin to demand a trade for a 2nd round pick and Eric Fehr.
I really don't have the time to go through all these posts though, so I apologize if my point has already been said or replied too.

It's always good when people vote without having time to read what is being discussed. Hopefully the 4 people who harassed me to speak on their behalf have time to read it, cause right now they are being slaughtered by the Haves.

I find it interesting too, that IF there is anybody, let alone 4 people, that feel this way they're all too afraid to post it.

Also, I hate to say it, but you really aren't qualified to try and come up with a solution to the 'problem' here in which 'many' members are affected. You were here for 2 seasons in which the league was ran completely differently. I understand you have shown up on a few occasions throughout the past 24 seasons, but you have not been here to experience the full affect of this league and how it is more then just a league for all of us here. If these members would like to come forth and agree with what you're saying, that is fine, we aren't censoring anyone, but again, we would look at their current situation and access the 'problem' in which the outcome will likely be the same.
Its very easy to not be in this league and say it has problems, but the truth is, what other league has come close to doing what this one has headed into Season 27? You literally can't compare this to any other league because there isn't a league to compare this too.
And you keep mentioning that everyone is being slaughtered by the Haves right now? I completely disagree, I would say what is happening is that the so called Haves, are active members currently active on their sim site, and the Have-Nots are doing what some do best, they aren't here.

I don't think they are afraid to. We have all said things along these lines at one point or another. But we have come too far to just start over. Many people have built teams from scratch here and if they show an effort to do the work I have always been there to help out sending them a Legend for acouple players from time to time
