Also, it would make it easier on Yotes going into NHL 13. All he would have to do is create legends if we do a legends draft

If any sort of a reboot is happening, you can count me out and I'll hand over full reigns of the league to Yotes. After spending nearly 4 years building my team I'd rather not have to start over for no reason.

If everyone wants a big change like that, then I'm all for it. It's your league, you are the GMs who have been here for so long. Just saying if that did happen, I will step aside, since I honestly have no desire to start from scratch.

I hope it's not too soon, I've been more worried about making a team for NHL 13 than I have this year. Trading usually picks up after a new game comes out, and I've also heard that the general overalls are higher than in previous games, so drafts will be more interesting.
I'm not against the idea, and would like to do one down the road, but maybe announce it beforehand/ early on ("will be implementing this for NHL 14") so that people don't build their team a certain for no reason.
Edit: I also have less time to commit to a brand new team, which will set me (and I'm sure others) back.
Edit: I would also be willing to go to a cap league.

My thoughts:
- I like the idea of picking new teams by your standing at the end of the year. Makes it more fair than seniority. - I don't hate the idea of restarting but I love the idea of adding a 2-3 round draft of legends. I <3 my legends. - HOWEVER, I'd like to see the new NHL 13 game and play a season with current rosters before we make any drastic changes. - I think we should ideally play one NHL 13 season regularly and than work on a complete turnaround - If Pittsburgh steps down who takes over? Without him this league will stumble and fail imo - We could possibly look into a 6-keeper system for this system as a "small stepping stone" towards making the big change a season beyond this one? - I'm all for change but rather wait out a year or so before we do make one..

I think if there is some sort of a reboot, the GMs who have proven themselves deserve some sort of an advantage.
But obviously not at the lost of Pitty.
Would you guys be okay with adding the idea of another draft pick and keeping the same 8 guys? Making you lose an extra guy.
If we don't change the rosters, I want to keep the 8-keeper system

im with kings, i wont have nearly as much time as i did 3 years ago to build a solid team. A lot of the "senior" gm's are going to be super busy with work/school.

Yes, I will be satisfied with just keeping this going as long as I can. With you guys getting real busy going College and University and everything. Keep it simple and go from there.

Agree, but I still think we need to spice it up a bit, maybe not a whole big reboot.
Maybe take away a keeper? IDK

If we can get enough guys to do another keeper league (Cap Leagues are too much work). I will sim it. Do a Fantasy Draft, so everybody gets players they want.

Yeah we could always change minor things like that to make it interesting, but i dont see any point of a major drastic change.

I don't like the idea just because of who you're going to get sign up. You'll be lucky to get half the people you want from here to join another league, but then it's all these random guys.
