Draft Suggestion

[New Jersey Devils GM]

Florida, here is what you do.

1. get new forwards - pretty much 3 new lines, you've got like, nothing..
2. get a new goalie - Both suck, go for a Khabibulin or someone who CAN win games
3. get a couple new d-men, you've got a decent block with Schenn, Ellis, Kulikov and Blindenbacher. Keep one of Orpik/Volchenkov then get an upgrade on the other, some how.

Use Blindenbacher, he is a beast for NHL 11, put him on your top unit PP and at least 2nd pairing.

Your forwards are the worst, though. You'll need to find producing players around 83 overall and trade Gomez and maybe Volchenkov for 2 or 3. A Gionta, or Morozov, a Okposo etc.

After that get some good players in the draft, don't be afraid to move down spots and pick up a couple picks. An extra asset is never a bad thing. You can do two for one in auctions or make a lateral swap... easier if you add a little something. Plus rounds 2-4 are about the same levels.

We've been going for 17 seasons, this isn't the first time someone complained because they couldn't make their team better.

Just a heads up Florida and Montreal, I'm willing to put down money if either of those two GMs were too take over your teams, they'd make the playoffs next season.

for those that like to say the drafts are weak. I guarantee I could build a playoff team every year with the 1st 24 picks. I woudn't take the best rated players, but it would be a playoff team. If you are a bottom team, PENALTIES kill you most of the time. Get rid of these guys. I have Hordichuk on my bench becuase he costs me games. If you want to know anything about stats for team, ask me, I will let you know. No stupid questions as far as I am concerned. I am here to help anybody and everybody.
