The live draft is currently pointless, as if you show up you get to watch all your favourite picks go to guys who did not show up and did not take the 4 seconds it takes to submit a list (even if it says "best available player".
Suggested solutions:
1) Live draft - If people have a team, do not show up to draft, and do not submit a list, they get SKIPPED for the entire first round. Best available player is taken every round after the first round.
2) Live draft - if no list and someone is auto'ed of the same overall that someone present picks, the present member way swap their pick for the selected pick. (Again, same overalls only)*
3) Non-live draft. Everyone submits a list by a deadline day, and the draft is done in 5 minutes by a staff member.
I prefer option 1. Actually, mix option 1 and option 2. Skip first round, and then later rounds, if someone at the draft wants to swap a same-overall pick in later rounds, they can).
It literally takes 4 seconds to type "best overall" and PM that to Isles or Pens. If you don;t do that, the guys who show up for the live draft should not have to sit and watch their favourite players get scooped up by lazy shkuzz pots.
Reject away friends, reject away.
*example. John Smith 86 is taken 3rd overall by a No-list team. I am up at 6th overall and 3 guys rated 86 overall are available. I would be able to choose John Smith 86 and leave the no-list team with one of the other 3 players rated 86.
