Evidently this wont work to my liking.
Only way is to deal through auctions, I don't mind the idea of it, but to be honest I don't like how some teams all the good ones will STILL get the top player.
Philly will want Kovalchuk and so will Pittsburgh, all they need to do is move one of the superstars they have and bam, he's theirs..
That's what I don't like.
Can't trade down, significantly. Don't want to give my top players to "top" teams in auctions. Guess either I need to just bench my players or wait for a draft.
:/ I'm disappoint. Thought some of the staff would be okay with a long time member trying something new and helping out others.

Yes, exactly. All the top teams will sponge them up and the weak teams will get the watered down players. Same crap different day.

Just do the 75 for 80 for acouple of the weakest teams. I don't care about our deal. We can make ours work. I have the players others don't to make it happen

Only way is via the draft. Which I might just end up doing.
Guess this was a big waste and a tease. Sorry for dragging it out, and even posting it in the first place. Was a waste of time.
Yotes, I'll still deal you D'Agostini, I know you want him. I'll pm you in a min.

I'm also shocked that the Mods won't let this happen, clearly Devils wants to prove he can build a winner from scratch and I believe he can, and by spreading out his good players, it helps beef up the competition in the league.
I say let Devs do this, no reason not too, everyone knows this is just Devs doing this, and people won't think they are able to now trade 85 for a 95 type thing.
Very Shocked.

Half the teams would probably end up dealing away those higher rated guys away soon after getting them for depth, it always happens, so what's the point really?

But what you don't want is what will end up happening.

That's one reason why I didn't want to do it, most GMs got their teams in that shape due to their stupidity. You could use a middleman to do those trades.
