check the update to the offer we had. It just makes the numbers work

I'd like to hear from staff first. I'm not really interested in making the numbers work.
With what Pens and Kings have said looks like trading will be very difficult. If that's the case I won't be able to make the trades, it will need to be either keepers and auctions. Let the higher players into the draft or bid my 'top' players for lesser talent in auctions.

yes, we have seen teams do that. I guess that is away around this, but you don;t get the draft picks then.

True, that's the downfall. But, makes it that much harder to re-build.
And if all else fails.. I'll just bench my top players and ice the lower ones. If this ends up being a problem..

I guess you will have to do the auction route if you can't get the numbers close

The only ones I see as close are the one with Phoenix, and the one with Kovalchuk/Cammalleri, but I can't say I'd approve any as they stand.

Just do it like some off the other trades in the league and upgrade your bench players to even out the numbers. A 75 for an 80 is still 5. They happen like that all the time

Drafts will make it easier than ever to improve.

My problem is it is always a number game. Does adding a 75 for an 80 realy make a trade better? LOL. But doing that will get all these trades accepted according to how we have always done things.

That's the only thing Yotes. I don't believe it does, and obviously it doesn't, but because we started accepting those, you can't really just decide when it's okay and when it isn't unless all the staff agrees on something.
