This isn't really a trash talk thing, but I didn't want to bury the other conversation in Chat.
If the draft were a trade, this is the trade I made.
LW Gabriel Landeskog PWF 85 D Erik Johnson DFD 85 RW Kyle Okposo PWF 84 D Jakub Kindl TWD 82 RW Jaromir Jagr SNP 82
became
D Michael Del Zotto OFD 84 C Ryan Nugent-Hopkins PLY 84 D Luke Schenn DFD 83 D Jeff Schultz DFD 83 D Bryan Allen DFD 81
I feel like I am in a grey area of death (not sucking and not making the playoffs) so I get worse, without getting bad enough to get a good pick to get good enough to make the playoffs.

But if you took the highest rated player available it would have been pretty even or better. But to me Hopkins was the best player in the draft. Ratings don't matter that. That is your story isn't it LOL

I lost D Trevor Daley DFD 85 C Jiri Tlusty PLY 84 D Stephane Robidas DFD 84 RW Drew Stafford TWF 84 RW Michael Grabner SNP 82
I gained LW Clark Gillies PWF 87 *Legend* LW Nikolai Kulemin SNP 84 (bonus pick for getting 1st in predictors) RW Justin Williams SNP 84 D Stephane Robidas DFD 84 RW Daniel Briere PLY 82 C Vaclav Prospal PLY 82
My team definitely got better. We gained an extra player and an upgrade from an 85 to an 87. This was a great draft for my team.

I had a terrible season and ratings-wise and getting worse.
