I do agree with Canes, I feel it is unfair for him. I'm suggesting we reserve that trade and award Wings some sort of compensation. But we also reserve it at season's end.

I was thinking giving Wings a late 2nd or 3rd along with allowing him to keep Sakic if he wants for the stretch run.

This is also up to JM and Wings, if one doesn't agree then we'll go from there.

I do somewhat understand his point. It was horrible timing and we did not notify them at the time. We were discussing this idea while the trade was being made.

I'm not sure. It's up to Wings ultimately. He's a stand up guy so you never know. Maybe Wal-Mart changed him, though. Capitalism, right?
