What's the scariest thing (or A scary thing ) that has happened to you?
This can be anything, from life and death stuff, to an icky bug attack. As long as it makes a cool story.

Wasn't THE scariest in any way, but I remember watching those leprosy commercials as a kid that creeped me out. People losing limbs randomly cause of some disease? Uhhh, no thanks.

Why are people all afraid of dudes here? If you don't like naked men, just don't hold their hands, or look at them, or let their junk touch yours. Hahaha.

Lol, but seriously, I do have this freaky ass story. It didn't happen to me personally, but a cousin of mine (who told us the story when we we're driving by this particular place). So when I went to Calgary in 2011, we we're headed on a family road trip down to Edmonton. Just outside of Calgary, there is a Devil's Playground. We actually drove by here when the story was told. So basically, my cousin said that him and his friends went down there a couple years back. The place is actually a burned down schoolhouse and is foggy a lot of the time. They just wanted to check it out, so they jumped over the fence and started wandering around. Now he tells me this actually happened - when they got to some swings, they started swinging by themselves. No wind, no nothing. They just started swinging. They got pretty freaked out and ran out of there. When they get in the car and drive off, about 5 minutes later, some lady is standing on the side of the street looking for a car ride. They don't stop for her and as they drive past, they see her running BESIDE THE FUCKING CAR as fast as the vehicle is moving. My cousin told my friend to pick up the speed and they managed to distance themselves from her before she stopped. So remember that we're fucking driving on this same road while he is telling us this. The worst part is that it was raining like crazy and this was at like 11pm so it was pitch dark (no street lights). Just going to add that I was pretty freaked out.
But yeah, that is the story. Lol turned into more of a haunted story than anything else but that was hell'a scary. Didn't witness it myself but it would be unreal to see something that crazy.

Pretty sure your friend fabricated that story to make you shit your pants

True or fabricated, it's a good one. Better than "I am scared of gay people".

Lol who knows maybe he lied about the girl on the road, or whatever, but he doesn't try to fuck around with me lol. Either way, that place outside of Calgary really seems haunted. Just driving through there was scary enough.

I used to go "ghost hunting" in a few abandoned houses a couple of years back. Myself and a few buddies (Columbus being one of them) went in and we had a voice recorder with us (I know, we were pro). At one point, we started laughing and than we all stopped and suddenly you hear what sounded like a little girls voice saying something (we couldn't make it out) but you distinctively hear our voices and this does not sound like any of us. It was pretty creepy. You also hear a small whisper (Again kids voice) say something "oh/no/go/" just that one word, pretty quickly later on as well.
Strange, alittle chilling. We also got a bunch of little orbs when we took pictures.
Nothing major but I mean, it's something.

I have video footage of the following:
1. I'm inside an abandoned house and three different voices come over the camera saying the following three things:
A. (male voice) "From the inside." B. (lower female voice) [as the camera is turning to look at different rooms] "Room to room." C. (high female voice) [when I stopped turning the camera] "Keep turning."
2. I'm walking through a cemetery, following someone in front of me. It's raining out a bit, and I quickly wipe the lens. When I do so, I turn the camera to look to the side of the path and you see someone clearly turn and walk through a monument.
3. I went camping a few years ago in Wawa, Ontario. We stayed at a campground just a few miles up from Pancake Bay (it's a national park, but for some reason I can't think of the name of it right now. Anyways, there was a big storm while we were there. The next morning, the wind is just as bad. We decided to go into Wawa for the day, and heard later in the day that during the morning at the same campground, a mother and her child went to the beach to go for a quick walk through the water. The father stayed behind to make them breakfast. While he's doing so, a large wave crashed in and pulled the mother and child out from the shore, drowning them. The father then spent the next three hours trying to figure out where his kid and wife went because breakfast was ready.

The last one was more sad than scary. This is why I never go to beaches or underwater. You could end up dying

Well, I talked to this older guy asking for directions to a nearby street. I was in middle school at the time and kept my distance (he was a couple feet away from me). My mom later showed me a picture of him on T.V. and stated that I should stay away from him because he is a pedophile. More eerie than scary, but still worth mentioning.
