Here's the thing, this is just a player, and the league initially had a specific rule of minimum 100K, Jersey did his thing and it went against the rule. By that, the league (and Jersey) screwed up and Tampa was following the right rules at the time. Regardless of this stupid vote, Tampa deserves the player, and Jersey really has to calm down because it's a sim league and it's Ray fucking Emery... jesus

Just so everyone knows, because votes couldn't be retracted or altered. Detroit switched his vote for Jersey to Tampa, and Jersey voted for himself even though he was asked not to. So as of now, the score is:

Tampa 4
New Jersey 3

The quick breakdown:

Tampa bids 10.00M on Ray Emery
Jersey bids 10.06M on Ray Emery (max) wins player
Rule clearly states (next bid must be minimum 100K)
Jersey's bid was only 60K more and thus does not follow rules appropriately.
Debate breaks out as to who should gain the rights to goaltender.
