Yup, it's been done before and has worked. I remember Isles had an excellent fantasy draft league a couple years ago and the draft went off without a hitch.

I think the random draft would be good, a lot faster too. This would also promote trading since everyone wants to make their roster their own.

As Yotes noted though, someone would need to do my job on this new secondary site. I don't have the time to run two and as I said my heart is in this one.

It will be a random draft. Things are being done as we speak (or type). Be ready to go in acouple days. Just means seasons here will taking 3 months per season instead of the usually 2 months. Unless my wife kills me.

Hidden too. I think if you want to promote activity, that'll be best. First come first serve will mean a few guys end up with players they like and never be trading them. Hidden element adds a nice lil' twist that's never been done before.

Since this thread started because someone wanted a fantasy draft I think you guys might want to consider doing a poll first to see what everyone wants. Random rosters or fantasy draft where everyone drafts their own teams

Yeah if we all draft our team via a fantasy draft everyone is still going to end up with quite a few players they like. If everyone picks a team without knowing who is on the roster it would definitely increase trading. If we could get 20+ people from this league to do the other one that would be ideal.

I'd also be willing to help out there if needed. Perhaps we could have 3 or 4 admins there that aren't JM or Pens just so that they can focus on this one and Yotes can just sim. Unless Yotes wants to be an admin there as well, which I have absolutely no issues with.

Edit: Also, as long as Pens has no issues with it I could modify the banner from this site with new text. That way it would show that the two are linked. Up to him though, I made the banner for this site and won't use it there unless he's cool with it.
