All 14 of Season 26's non-playoff teams will enter the draft lottery, and the team that wins the draw will move up four spots (maximum), meaning that although a team outside the top five can win the draft lottery, only the five lowest-finishing teams in the league are eligible for the first overall pick. As such, no team can drop more than one spot. Odds of winning the draft lottery and eligible teams are as follows: Odds of Winning the First Overall Pick48% 19% 14% 11% 8% Odds of Winning the Draft Lottery25% 19% 14% 11% 7% 6% 5% 4% 3% 2% 1% 1% 1% 1%

thank goodness. It is very rare that the number 1 overall wins the lottery and I am just glad that it did not bump me out of that first overall spot.
