Just curious to see what you guys like and dislike about the game.
I personally like the new skating system and the goalies, but a few things caught my eye
- pretty much every one timer fucks up, i understand they want to eliminate them, but its retarded, not sure if im doing something wrong with them thats new now or something - when you stop, the controller now vibrates which at first i found annoying, but now im used to it. - shootouts are nearly impossible, and I played superstar in NHL 12

also for hut, whenever you put a booster on a guy, their rating stays the same and they get some logo thing on the top. and if you put multiple, it'll erase the last one you put on. Hope its not like that for the actual game, or I won't play

1. 1 timers for me have been fine, if anything a lot more miss the net, but it's more realistic IMO
2. That's one of the additions, if you try and turn sharply going full speed it will vibrate as well.
3. More difficult, but thats because you can't move side to side like crazy now, i'm still good at them, shots are more effective in them now

I have noticed like 95% of my players miss one timers.. I think I have had maybe 3 successful one timers and two of them missed the net.. I miss a lot of body checks too, I cant wait to have the full game though, Ill eventually get better at it

I find if you pass too hard or are skating too quick, the one timers will not be effective. You basically have to be stopped or just barley gliding to feed a good one timer pass to where the player will be able to get a shot off.
I am liking the demo but like most of you, am finding it a bit difficult to get used to the new skating engine. Once I log some time into it, it should be real fun. I really like having full control over the players feet and being able to rotate your body when need be.

they removed the post whistle scrums or shots as well as hitting the goalies. that was like their big new addition in NHL 10 or 11 and now they removed it... They'll probably re-implement it 5 years from now and be like, "Hey, this is the new never before seen feature"

What? That was never their big addition at all.... That was never an addition, it was just there.

I hate the R2 positioning thing on defense, blah. I thought there was supposed to be a new defensive skating engine or something, anyone care to elaborate on how to use it/what it is?
