Hello all,
As I have mentioned numerous times on the cbox, in the suggestions board and to some of you via PM, a new 30-man roster (including 3 goalies) roster limit is coming into effect at EA NHL Simulation, starting with this coming season.
How does this affect you? Well, if you have 30 or fewer players (including 3 or fewer goalies), it doesn't at all - you're in the clear. If you have more than these amounts, you're going to need to start shipping out players if you don't want to lose some for nothing.
Ideally, with this 30-player limit, teams can either carry 28 skaters and 2 goaltenders, or 27 skaters and 3 goaltenders. It will also strengthen the auction pool somewhat and prevent teams from hoarding, which has become an issue as of late.
After the draft, I will be going through each roster to make sure your roster fits this new criteria. If it doesn't, your lowest-rated players will be cut from your roster until these new guidelines are met.
If you wish to just release some players to get under the limit as opposed to trading them, that is fine - post which players you'd like to get rid of here, and I will add them to the auction pool.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
