Gets: D Niklas Lidstrom OFD 88 Gets: D Tom Gilbert TWD 83 'Yotes came to me with this offer, saying that he felt I got screwed last season on the Brown deal after the "Leafs and Avs" deal was accepted during this off season. I kind of agree with him a bit and wasn't exactly about to refuse this. Accepts.

If I wasn't allowed to sell my top players for depth, picks and junk then I won't be accepting a deal like this.

I find it hilarious that Yotes is using the trade that HE accepted as a basis for things like this. I knew he was going to do it too.
Yotes, had YOU not accepted the deal, it may have gotten rejected.
With that said, I have to accept or I'll never hear the end of it.

It is the same deal as Colorado's and Toronto's that nobody wanted to reply on

I feel like it is owed to Rangers as he got screwed out of getting an 88 for Lupul and then we accept somebody else getting an 88 for Lupul. Just not right. Nobody else was willing to reply to the Ave's Leaf's deal. I have the depth to pay him back for so I am. He got screwed period.

I thought I did, but I guess I only posted the part about Cor. I would have rejected that deal, and I reject this one.

I know I'm not suppose to comment but how did the Rangers get screwed for a unfair deal being rejected? weren't the mods doing what they were suppose to? Same as now?
I don't get it.

Sure, he's a low level producer. But I see no reason to accept either one to be honest.
Like you said in that thread, "We have always based trades on rating. There is some give and take when somebody really wants somebody. "
The little 'give and take' is a few overalls, but typically with superstars. Not a superstar for a likely candidate for the draft.
And like I said, when I was looking to dismantle my team a couple seasons ago I had several offers and potential deals where I was downgrading my players('superstars') and trying to do a contender from scratch. I was unable to do so because after several talks with Pittsburgh and yourself, along with other members, we established the potential deals I'd post would be rejected. I'd like to think I'm a known member and wouldn't just blow up the team and leave but even then it was still a no chance to happen.
So with that, I rejected. TBA

Well, I missed that one too. Kind of hypercritical on some to accept that one and reject this one. I would have rejected based on what I just posted, but if we do accept this too, I hope it means there will be a lotmore flexibility towards trading. I retract my rejection(s), and will decided soon.
