What do you think of doing something similiar like in Spitty's league.
Let's say, at the beginning of the season, you choose 3 players. Any 3 guys off your roster. Based on a set criteria prior to the season, they can either gain or lose overall. So, say I choose Player Sandman. Sandman, rated 85, plays 70 games, gets 45 points. In the set criteria that we determine, 45 points is too little to gain overall for a player of such overall. Therefore, Sandman loses an overall and is now an 84.
It's kinda risky, but kinda interesting. Perhaps for that season we give legends or rookies a break and go with this? Something new? Something different?
By set criteria I mean this: Players rated 80-82: 0-30 points = 1 overall loss. 31-50 points = 1 overall gain. 51+ = 2 overall gain. (would be different for D-man/goalies?)
yay or nay?

Not really a fan tbh. More work for Yotes and more stuff to keep track of.

It woudn't be difficult to do, but just a heads up to everybody thinking this would help. If a player is rated 83 and is producing in the game and you change him to an 85-87, he will usually not perform as well as he use to and I defnitly can't change them back to what they were and work out well.

If we were to do this, it should have been something from the start, not introduced in Season 21. And there's a reason we're in Season 21, let's stick with that.

There's also a reason why legends and rookies are introduced, why gm awards were scrapped, etc.
And it's not because we've stuck with it.

I say this should be only done to rookies upto three years of being introduced. it raises their values as well.

Eh, I probably wouldn't use it if we did introduce it. Not a bad idea by any means though.

If Yotes is okay with it, I wouldn't be against it.
Wouldn't use good producers though, you gamble ruining their mojo.

Up to the person who wants to do it and who they send out. Like Yotes said, it may screw over your good producers though.
Just throwing things out there, something new to try. Iunno.
