Gets: RW Dustin Brown (87) PWF Gets: RW Joffrey Lupul SNP 83 LW Taylor Pyatt PWF 81 I apologize to Minny in advance for my statement in my PM, but when an offer like this comes across your desk, you take it. This deal MAY hurt me in the short term, being that I'd have no spares in case of injury, but bringing in a player like Browner will help my team both in the short term as well as in the long term. Rangers Accept.

considering Brown could just be moved for a player in auctions, it is still rejected

So if Lupul does nothing in Toronto, like Brown. Then what does Toronto have? Nothing. He has an 83 that can't help him in a trade or anything else

Like I'm taking not having any depth for injuries trading 2 players for 1. I could just as easily be getting a dud in Brown at 87 as he does with Lupul at an 83. Doubtful, since Lupul gets points everywhere in this game and Brown seems to need a chemistry factor to be on his game. The thing is that I've been getting offers for Lupul like crazy since I got here; most would be considered over payments. This was just the best one that came to me.

We have always based trades on rating. There is some give and take when somebody really wants somebody.

Not even close. I got an 87 for an 83, 84, and another swap of players in his favor. Much more needs to be added; reject.

We have always based trades on rating. There is some give and take when somebody really wants somebody. Im aware this is rejected but this statement isnt true Yotes. There have been plenty of instances where someone has severly overpayed for a player as he was doing well either in the real NHL or here. (bros being the best example several years ago) Im not going to waste time searching through the archives for examples but I really needed a lw and am well aware of whats going to happen with lupul at the end of this season. You guys have always trusted my judgement on all other trades and my trades. I wish you had of had a little more faith in me this time.
