*counts roster*
Oop I'm at 32, although to be fair I am TRYING to win auctions by bidding 2 79s for an 80, but somebody *Vancouver* always wins them all.

Which is why I say we cap how many auctions you can bid on/win.

I don't understand why you're making such a big deal about this Yotes. Set a deadline for people to cut their roster down to 30, or 24 or whatever, and if they have more at that time, just take players off their rosters. Done, problem solved.

looks like everybody wants 30. 30 doesn't really matter to me though. Could be 40 or 50. If I have to manage minor league teams it is alote of work. Guys will do auctions with minor league players and then bitch becuase the guy they won isn't in there best lines. Off Course he isn't he is on your minor league team. In order to put him or you NHL team you need to tell me to send somebody down. With Rosters over 30 there is no guarentee all there players are there. The game will do best lines and then radomly send players to FA when I go to Season Mode.

We'll start with having a limit of 30 since that's the in-game limit. If need be in the future, it will go lower.
EVERYONE HAPPY?

I wouldn't object to a roster limit of say 25ish? That way any 80's that don't sniff the starting rosters on some teams will be playing on the 3rd/4th line on a different team.
There really isn't much point to having so many players when they don't play for you.
Edit;
I also like EDM's idea of only being allowed to win a certain amount of auctions.

25ish is something to consider down the road, but for now, make sure you're at or under 30. Case closed.
