I'd be down for a cap league run by JM. I'm probably in the minority, but I like cap leagues more.

Parity is NOT a concern here. Go to the Cup winners and see if you can pick out any dynasties or teams that were predictable winners.

And i could grab other rosters of teams making the playoffs every year. Some teams have their rosters so stacked that good players sit on the bench with no other team having a chance to get them.

Half the time GMS use players in the FA to get good players to sit on the bench with their thumbs up their asses.

I've already said make a one time one keeper draft. So don't take shots at me for not wanting to lose my "stars".

A couple times I've suggested it, it's been shot down, again and again. Won't happen, at least not any time soon.

Hey, why not? It's never been done before but with some planning and thought put into it, I'm sure it could work.

For example, every legend starts off at age 30. Gives them a solid 5-10 years in the league. Other tweaks and such can be worked around.


I think this thread is more about the crappier teams not being able to get better players. Higher rated players. Well, there are easier methods to achieve such goals. We've seen FA auctions where high rated guys are only available to teams who missed out playoffs. We could have a legend auction for teams who do not have a legend on their squad, etc. Various other methods than to just blow it up.

I would be down for a change here and there but I have been here since like day 2 and even tho my team continues to bring me lottery picks every year, I dont like the idea of blowing up what we have developed here.

Like a few GMs have suggested before me, maybe some new ideas for legend auctions or in the draft have a 4 or 5 keeper limit and we can only protect one goalie. I would be down for something like that but not a complete restart.
