So I just got my x-box back from repair today, and I started my hut. I won a tournament already, and played some games online, and I'm at around 3500 pucks.

Should I pick some guys up at auction? Do I buy the pack @ 7500 pucks? What do I do? I'm a little confused with the strategy of spending.

Depends on your lineup. If you can find a Grabovski 87+ with high speed and hands, with a 88ish shot, you should try and go full out for that card. Trust me.

But isn't it better to upgrade my first two lines which consist of low 70s all the way to 60 guys?

How much is an 88 'worth' in auctions with around 5-10 games remaining?

Packs: which one is the best? I'd assume the most expensive one is.

Well, if you buy the 7,500 pack you get a superstar most of the time. you could get Patrick Kane and some contracts, upgrades and guys to fill up your roster. If you think about it... You could buy the 7,500 pack. Hopefully get a superstar upgrade him up a couple of overalls if needed. Then sell him for a bunch load and when you get the pucks from selling it do it all again until you make a lot of profit But it's a risk because Bolts knows all about it Lol. He bought a 7,500 pack and didn't get any high overall players haha.

But you can also scan the auction and find an idiot that's selling a star playing for dirt cheap I got Carter 86 for 2,500 pucks buy now. Then I upgraded him up to a 88 and sold him for 4,650

The Jumbo pack is the best, not sure if you have the depth to make it another 4000 pucks without running out of packs.

Theres like a 1 in 10 chance on gettnig a superstar with the jumbo pack.

I've opened 4, and the best player i've gotten was mathieu carle 82 D. and my friend opened 3 and the best player he got was Chris Stewart 83 RW.

What you should do is get a very good top 6, and then for your bottom 6 just crappy players that you can play well with.

Then I guess I have just been very unlucky. I've opened a pack where the best player was a 75 D and my 4 rares were 3 25 Game Contracts and 1 +7Defense.

It is pure luck, I bought two packs a few days ago. First pack had 3 players, 2 60 something OHL players and 1 62 DEL player. The rest were contracts, boosters, a jersey and Buffalo Logo. My next pack had Duncan Keith, Daniel Sedin, Nicklas Backstrom(G) and Jimmy Howard. From one pack, so yeah, pure luck.

BTW sold Keith fro 12500 and Sedin for 10000, bought two more packs ended up with, Brodeur, Torres, McDonald, Volchenkov, and a couple other decent NHL players.

Sometimes you're lucky sometimes not, I'd advise you to wait for the Jumbo.

I'm really unlucky with Jumbo Packs. My rares are always 25+ Games or +7 attribute boosts. Best player I've gotten was Kessel and that was in a standard pack.

I picked up Bill Guerin (82) at auctions for 500 pucks, not a bad deal IMO, considering I need someone to score more frequently.

And just my amazing luck, my xbox broke again, 3rd time in the last goddamn month. Back to repair you go, you big waste of 500$.
