I usually sim the first season, and then fix up my team a little, and THEN play alot of games.. which im doing this time.. I just finished the Trade Deadline..
I got offored Henrik Sedin and a couple nobodys for Okposo and Bailey lol sooo I changed it to Okposo + Bailey + a first in 2011
for Henrik and Daniel, and they actually accepted.. (Sweeet!)

Wanted to do a rebuild one. Picked Florida. Trade deadline comes, I deal Booth, Weiss, Vokoun+++, basically anything of remote good value. In return I end up with, Grabner, Tedenby, Reimer and 3 firsts. I finished the season 2nd last. - Won the lottery though. haha Draft. 1st. Adam Larsson 3rd. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins - Isles pick(Booth+Olesz+future pick) 6th. Ryan Murphy - Leafs pick(Vokoun) 10th. Dougie Hamilton ~20th. Ryan Strome ~90th. Thomas Jurco Lucked out on a couple. Going into UFA, I have only 3 players signed-TOTAL, Kulikov, Tedenby & Reimer. Have over 50mill to spend. I re-sign a few - Reasoner, Matthias, Samsonov, Mcardle, Bergfors, Bernier, Skille, Garrison. I'm up to about 15mill, 35+ to spend. UFA comes, need to spend cash, decide to give out massive one year deals. Just finished my 4th year with my Florida franchise, won the Cup, while simming everything.
In season 3 we were in the ECF vs Buffalo up 3-2 and Reimer sucked, big time, Luongo like. Blew the game 6. Then blew a 4-1 lead in game 7, traded his ass. lol
Was a good move, got the Cup.
