Hello GMs,
By popular demand of some managers, some rules have been altered. As you will notice, we have added a seperate re-signing scale for defensemen (due to the overall discrepency between forwards and defensemen), which will of course result in you paying defenseman more money than they would have gotten originally.
However, when I take something, I like to try and give something even better back. To help with this move, the cap rule has also been altered. Instead of the cap going up by a small 3% each season, the cap will now go up by 10% each season.
Thanks for your cooperation. This has been a great season so far, and I look forward to seeing how the competition will fare in the season's stretch run and playoff drive.
Cheers,
hockeyfan101 Commissioner - EA NHL Simulation Pittsburgh Penguins GM

So new cap will be $62,370,000? Sounds good, but we should make it a solid number like $62,300,000 or if u want to keep it at increments of 250k make it $62,250,000 or $62,500,000.
IMO $62,250,000 would suffice.

As I said in the rules, the cap is always rounded to the nearest whole million. So next year's cap will be $62,000,000.
