I know it's already finalized, but this is why we give out automatic 1 year NTC in free agency signings in ManNHL. You sign a guy for a ridiculous price only to trade them. Not a fan of this at all. I would've liked Philly to have to hold onto him for at least a season.

1 year NTC I don't like. But i believe every FA should have to play at least 30+ games for the team that signed them. If Jackets are willing to take the contract on I'm fine with it, but the player should have to player, like I said, a minimum amount of games. Just my opinion.

I like the NTC for really good players, but not for like 75 overall guys, for Beauchemin he could have had one!
