How about this then.
The player with more points will be the winner. If they're tied, than no one wins and the player is held over until next round.

so there is 8 keepers of our choice and goalies are not protected?
I really think goaltenders shouldn't be touched, because it would just be a draft of shit goalies, they should be automatically protected.

I think that there should be 9 protections, 8 for forwards and defense, and you can protect 1 goaltender.

The format is final guys. It's 8 protects, any position, next highest 5 go into the draft. No exceptions.

The goalies are included. So if one of the five highest rated on your roster that were not protected is a goalie (example, in my case, Brian Boucher) he enters the draft.
