Anotehr thing, we aren;t in the same league anymore, it a keepers league now, most of these players will be going into the draft, I will lose them either way, I rather do this

on Edmonton's deal I wanted an explanation from Toronto I think it was. He didn't give me one. So I rejected and a pick was added

A lack of an explanation is a rather lame way of deciding whether or not to accept or reject a trade. No offense.
Jersey, when Edmontont posted that deal, we had the no cap league going to, and I think everyone but me and 1 other person rejected, so if this is accepted it's a bit of a double standard, because he onyl gained 3 overalls, Toronto gains 3 decent players.

I agree with NJ that you have to overpay to get top line players in this league.
I know I don't have any say on this, but if Jersey is fine with it I don't see why it shouldn't be able to go through. It's not like he's a new GM getting fleeced...he knows what he's doing.

I asked for an Explanation because I was on the border. The trade didn't make anysense to me. But if it did to him fine. We all know Nash is a big producer in this and that is why. In Edmonton's he got the 3 Producer's for nothing that was why there.

Well if we went by that, just having both teams fine with the trade, why have trade mods or people judging trades?

If it was just by numbers we don't need trade mods. Anybody can do the math.

something to keep in mind guys...look at Nash and Green. I expect they'll go up in 2010, while Alfie will most likely drop.
Yes he's giving up a bunch of depth players, but if the Devils have a bunch of guys sitting on the bench, why not? Might as well use them to make a deal happen if they aren't being used.
This isn't a case of an inexperienced GM getting fleeced. This is a bidding war that involved many teams at one point or another driving the price of a player up.

I would have rather kept my team the way it is now, they are doing really good.
So your telling me if I got it and it was this lopsided you would accept it?
I just think this is really lopsided, even if Nash is a really good producer. This isn't me being bitter.

Well I don't understand how this helps Boston. Most of the players he is getting will be lost in the draft anyways..
Along with his players most likely getting worse in 2010..

Who cares if they go up in 2010? This is an 09 league, that's completely irrelevant.
It's the double standard that is annoying to me, when we made the leage no-cap one of the staff (not me or Oilers) said trades are going to have to be almost even to be accepted.
This isn't close to be even.
