Tampa and I sat down together and talked. This is what we had to say.
Q - You're a new GM here, what's you're favorite part of this sim league compared to others so far?
A - Probably the activity and the simming. I dont think any other league has ever been this live. Mainly I think the simming is what is holding the whole league together without it the activity wouldnt be there and without activity the league would be dead. Both of these factors play a huge role in making this league an enjoyable experience.
Q - You're team lacks a superstar franchise foward. What's up with that?
A - I am still working on that. Next year I'd like to auction off leetch for a higher rated legend. We did have Kopitar and Carter last season but we didnt get anywhere with them so I changed it up a bit. I'll be looking to build this team through the draft and auctions.
Q - Recently you've made some unbelievable claims in the cbox and everyone started chirping you (made fun of you) and then you continued with some more 'facts' and everyone thought you were retarded. Here's a chance for you to back yourself up, so back yourself up.
A - Well I dunno what to say. They weren't really getting my point and it probably seemed outrageous to them. First I think it was the Leafs winning the cup before Nucks argument that took place. I cant really prove that but you'll all witness it yourselves in a few years. By then you probably wont remember and it'll be too late but atleast I can have the last laugh .
Q - You're currently 3rd last in the NHL, WTF, I thought you said before the season that you would win your division?
A - Well that time I think I had a nice team. I still had carter, doan, bryzgalov but I had also acquired Niedermayer and got other guys such as Suter from the draft. So I thought my team would've done much better than their "2 wins in 10 games" start and that eventually lead to the re modeling of my team. Now we're not really having those high expectations and just wanna build through the auctions and the draft. But I wouldnt say we're camping our goal is still to be above .500.
Q - Florida has been a tough divisional rival for your team lately. There is obviously a huge rivalrie there. How does it feel to be ahead of them right now?
A - Well I never really thought of that. Florida's obviously a superb team considering how they won the cup last year so dunno why they're choking this year. I think they should make the playoffs at the very least.
Q - When you're best player Henrik Sedin only has 15 points, what goes through you're mind?
A - Well he's currently playing on my 4th line and he sucks in this game the only reason I have him is to give him away to the auctions or to keep him for NHL 11.
Q - Do you think you still have a chance to make the playoffs? What do you plan to do to help your team make it?
A - Yeah, I think everyone has a chance right now dont they lol. I'm not gonna be making some massive trades any time soon so I'm just gonna be bidding on the auctions.
