I started a new one with Columbus. I tried to blow the team up and get the 1st overall draft pick, didn't happen. The team somehow managed to place 2nd in the Western Conference . This is what the team looks like just about to start S2. Ha, I tried doing that with Atlanta, I wanted a high 1st. Didn't happen, they ended up winning the division and making it to the 2nd round. I even dealt Lehtonen and traded for Conkin(74) for my starter he did great...LOL.

I don't play with cap because guys like Burrows want 5 million! It should go by stats for re-signing!

lol Its more enjoyable without the cap, I agree. My team is epic without the cap on. No one on my roster is below 90.

no cap = dumb, IMO.
I like making mine realistic.
I am currently in season 4 of my new dynasty. I am the Preds, finished 29th in year 1 and 30th in year 2, and season 3 i finished 9th in my conference.
My current Line-up looks like this:
Naslund[80] - Malkin[96] - Iginla[95] Novoseltsev*[83] - J.Staal[87] - Voracek[80] Pacioretty[80] - Hamill[77] - Giroux[79] Santorelli[74] - Moller[74] - Halischuk[76]
Weber[90] - E.J.[88] Beauchemin[82] - Suter[85] Goligoski[76] - Parent[78]
S.Mason[84] Dipietro*[79]
* = Drafted players
My AHL team has a few decent players, most notably my newest draft pick a D named Xavier Crabb 79 overall.
I acquired most of these players via FA - Iginla, Beauchemin, Naslund, EJ. and I traded for Malkin for three 1st rounders I accumulated over one season, while I was selling off my main assets; IE, Erat, Legwand, Hamhuis, Arnott.
Hopefully this team will make the playoffs this season.

I want to do them with cap but because players that get 10 points want 4 million I don't play with cap!

I've never had that problem. If a player wants to much, let them walk and replace them with a AHL or a FA player.
