First off, this isn't my idea, borrowed it from T-Ruff at Leafscentral.

Anyways here it is.
Rules:
- Everyone gets a $1000 cap build their roster
- Dollar value equals end of the season point totals: For example, Stamkos finished with 91 points so will cost $91 and you'll have $909 left to spend on the rest.
- Please use NHL.com for the official points totals
- You may select up to 30 players, as long as you don't exceed the $1000 cap
- $0 players are not allowed
- Scoring system is points only, one point for a goal or assist
- Goalies may be added to a roster but only their goals and assists count
Do you go pay big money for the guys or do you spread out the cap space amongst 2nd tier players and value picks for a bigger roster? Do you spread out your picks, or do you pick from one or two teams that you think will go to the final? You don't get your moneys worth out of a player that loses in the first round.
As you can see, there is a lot of strategy involved!
You may enter a team with a partner/group as well as individually... So start thinking about your picks! There is only window of a few days to make your submission.
We'll start taking entries tonight after 10pm ET. At that point you will have until the first game of the playoffs on April 13th 7:00pm ET to submit a team. Be careful about a late submission, it's fine to submit a team at 7:00 on the dot but if you miscalculated and went over the cap you will have missed your chance.
Team up with another member to increase your chances!
Sidenote: It will make my job easier if you post your entries in some kind of organized manner, for example:
Iginla 86
E. Staal 76
Tavares 67
etc xx
total xxxxx
Highest to lowest or grouped by teams highest to lowest is best but as long as you post it in a list and it adds up to 1000 or less it will be accepted.
