By default, about 10 of you will disagree with this suggestion just because its me, but hear me out:
I suggest that we are given the option to protect more players by trading draft picks for "protects". Say something like, 1st rounder= a protect for a player 78-80, 2nd - 76-78 3rd - 74-76 or something and so on.
I have never before tried to acquire draft picks, and I would look forward to the unique opportunity to try to do that with this suggestion.

If we lowered it okay something like
1st 76-78 2nd 75-77 3rd 74-76

Love this idea, because there's players I'd much rather hang onto, but I'd like both the 4th and 5ths to be able to protect the same rating.
I'm thinking:
1st: 78/79 2nd: 76/77 3rd: 74/75 4th: 72/74 5th: 72/74

Great idea. I think it would work better, and help some of the guys out.

I didn't think it was that hard to count to 16 But anyways, I actually don't mind this idea. Ducks I would like you a lot more (not that you care) if you had more suggestions like this.

Alright, I think this is fair. You get the picks, you can choose what you do with them.
This is now official.

Lol, you can draft a lot higher then a 70-71 with your 5th, unless you mean if you aquire other peoples picks, that's what you can use them for?

Yeah, that's what I was kind of unsure about too.

That's the overall of the player you can protect with that pick.
It's purposely lower than what you would get in the draft, to make it so you do not do it unless you really want to keep a player.

Lol yeah okay, just checkin, so any pick you can do this with right? Yes, but you can only protect a player with the correct value.
