Hey guys.
Sad to announce but I'm resigning from my position as dallas stars gm.
I find that I don't really have any effort to manage my team anymore, or even be as active on the site. I find that the simming goes way to quickly (which probably isn't a bad thing) but I just can't keep up with it unless i sit here for way longer than I want to.
I intend to still be fully active on the fantasy sim site once that starts up again. One league is enough for me at the moment.
Good luck to the next gm of the dallas stars.

man that is like the 3rd to quit saying I sim to much. Should I tapper back a bit. Maybe to 4 days every day? I don't know. Right know I am doing about 6 a day. Except for after the trade deadline when everbody just wants to see results.

Its not you(Detroit) its the odd person who doesn't have the time, I guess.
I believe this site is so productive because of the simming - I personally love it.

Your simming rate is a-ok Wings. No change is needed there.
Sorry to hear that you are going Dallas, you were a great GM for them in your time here.

Yeah I think your simming rate is great, Wings.
Sucks that you're stepping down Dallas. I haven't been here long but you always seemed like a good guy and a very solid GM.

In my opinion the simming is quite heavy. I personally haven't looked at individual game results for the last couple weeks because it seems to be just flying by. However, that is largely because I've been in exams for part of it and now that they're out of the way I'm working 10+ hours a day 6 days a week while trying to watch the playoffs.
Personally, I wouldn't exactly complain if the simming slowed down somewhat but it's not unbearable. It is good to see a simmer that is obviously very dedicated to the league.

Im kinda with Boston on this one, The Simming is Quite fast...... But Its not to the point where I'm complaining or even contemplating on resigning, If you kept it the way it was, or even move down to 4 days.... 3 days... or EVEN 2 days... I would still be happy with it. I love this league, So no matter what I'll stay here unless it starts going downhill fast, or I just simply don't have time for it. (which would mean I got a full time job, a girlfriend, and what not, which seems highly unlikely at the moment lol)
This league and spittys league are BY FAR, my favorite leagues, so whatever happens to either I'm in it for the long haul.
BTW... Good luck to Creemcorn and sorry it came to you resigning. But we all respect your desicion. And good luck to the new Dallas Stars GM (whenever you come).

Simming is sexy on here why change it, it would boring, if only 2-4 days were simmed...

Simming is sexy on here why change it, it would boring, if only 2-4 days were simmed... I think it all comes down to how much time people have for this league. A month ago, when I had lots of time on my hands I loved the speed. But now, with a far busier schedule that has greatly reduced my time for this, it seems fast. The reason people resign is because they, for whatever reason, don't have the time to keep up with a league that sims through a week a day.

Oh i'll be around. I'm on the fantasy site and its pretty much the same group of people I just won't be managing a team.
