It has nothing to do with work, Pens... I've been making offers like crazy trying to better my team. (Yes, some bad ones early on.) But all I get is the same answer, even when I'm offering my best player... and that is "I don't wanna downgrade." I've heard it so many times from everyone that it makes trading virtually impossible for any players that I'd want or that I'd need to make this team better. And the thing is that it's all mostly the teams with 3, 4 and 5 90+ Ovr players that say that. You're gonna drive yourself to drink Kruze. Just sit back, stop trading cause it aint helping, and wait until draft day. Just make sure that you have gotten your keeper list to a point that you want to take with you, and then build your team a little using your draft rank position because you did so shitty. The other teams with all these high ranked guys will lose their guys, or better lose their guys cause there is no way to protect half their team.

Word Sabres, look at who I lost last year, every year the 5 guys I lose are usually gone in the top 15 picks.

The draft gets better every year because of the new legends and predictor players that are integrated into the league, draft smart, and trade smart and you'll be fine.

When you consider we bring in 5 legends per year, 1 for the non-playoff guys is more than fair. Especially since some non-playoff teams actually have some 85+ talent (and if this season continues at the pace it is going now, there will be multiple elite teams on paper missing the cut). Well, I attribute that to all the trade activity that all teams have been doing. The EA series has taken into account a team's morale since 99 or 2000, and when you end up making alot of trades, it affects your team drastically. You say it's just a video game, but it's true when you're simming the games because you're not playing the actual games yourself and have no control over it at all. LOL I already drink and it's lead to a couple bad trades already early on... but your theory backfires when it's usually only 83 Ovr player and down in the draft; which I have a ton of already. There was one 84 or 86 in the draft this year (Mike Green); that's it. Still doesn't make my team any better than average or below average.

What I don't think you guys understand is that we actually need to give up talent to get this legends. Its not like we get them for free.

It's different though Isles, we give up say a 90 for a 91 legend, but then another good team grabs that 90. The teams with no one over 83 don't really even have a shot at anyone in auctions over 84, except once in a while. But I do know what you're trying to get at.

What I don't think you guys understand is that we actually need to give up talent to get this legends. Its not like we get them for free. Yes, but these higher talent guys end up being rotated between all the higher ranked talent teams. Teams with a majority of their rosters at 83 and below are never even close to getting any of them. That's what you're failing to realize.

What I don't think you guys understand is that we actually need to give up talent to get this legends. Its not like we get them for free. But the talent you give up is normally other legends that arent producing for you. So they never get down to us bottom feeders. Not one has gone down to a 86 yet. And arent we playing january's games already?

Trust me on this one. This is the first time it keeps rotating, I got a couple stars back in season 3 through auctions then traded to get my team at the way it is now. The auctions are fine, they help EVERYONE.

And I swear that the dallas stars sucked like 3 years ago, and he built starting upgrading through auctions then traded like I did. If you know what you're doing, you'll be fine.

To battle your theory, I will personally notify you as to when someone lower than an 88 wins an auction for a legend or better player.
Are you a betting person? I have cash money in my hand that says that I wont be contacting you this season. So, you wanna put your cash where your theory is?

Nothing else is changing, this thread is getting completely off-topic and out of hand.
