About to start Season 2/2010-11 w/  Won the Stanley Cup in Season 1; former players Rob Blake, Brian Rafalski, and Brendan Shanahan retired. Signed UFA D Sergei Gonchar at a pretty solid price ($2.65M). Also of note, I have two top-5 picks on the active roster (Gardener from the first draft, and Leclaire, whom I traded up to get 5th overall based on my amateur scout's recommendation). You can tell by the rating increases who my best players were last year. A few suggestions:
-Fuck Afinogenov, acquire Belak, best 4th line RW in the game.
-Del Zotto should not only be on the first pair, he should appear on ever d-pairing atleast once, and he should be centering the 4th line
-Kovalev...nuff said
