Started a new fantasy draft team, this time with the oilers, because I love their home jersey, lol.
Kavalchuk-Zajac-Ryan Semin-Tavares-Byfuglien Lucic-Modano-Giroux Lapairerre-Maholtra-Zubrus
Lidstrom-Green Burns-Hedman Souray-Aucoin
Mason Raycroft
Made a bunch of deals after the draft, will probably scrap this one soon though. too unrealistic.
oh and I created/edited Tavares/Hedman - also made Duchene.

What are Tavares and Duchene's overall for you. I have Tavares as an 83 and Duchene as an 81 i think.

I have Duchene, Kane at 80 Hedman, Tavares at 81.
Edit: Now that I think of it, I think Kane is a 78.

Made another one, finally found a team I'm liking.
Started off with New Jersey.
For season 1 only deal I made was acquiring two prospects, Stalberg and Franson. At the beginning - at Trade deadline i got Niedermayer.
Going into season 2 team looks like this now.
Parise(87) - Zajac(83) - Langenbrunner(84) Elias(86) - Pavalski(84, UFA) - Stalberg(81, was 76) Tedenby(81-was 76) - Josefsson(79, was 75) - Bergfors(80, was 75) Zubrus(78) - Belanger(78) - Pikkarainen(78)
Niedermayer(87, trade at deadline)-Martin(84) Bogosian(81, trade at draft)-Franson(82, was 77) Oduya(80)-Eckford(80, was 77)
Brodeur(91) Frazee(77)
Only move that is unrealistic was the Bogosian one, but I wanted him. Played one game so far, won the game 4-1.

Thats awesome that you landed Pikkarainen Devils. In my first season (I am playing quite a few games and am almost into Jan.) he is leading the league in scoring with like 48 points. Crazy youngster stepping it up!

He is a Devil in real life. But yea hes pretty good in the game too.
Hes a decent powerforward in real life, kind of a pest. he was doing better than Clarkson so I let Clarkson walk in UFA.

My NHL 10 Be A GM - Edition!! Forward Line 1 - Jason Blake - Phil Kessel - Lee Stempniak Forward Line 2 - Niklas Hagman - Mikail Grabovski - Alexei Ponikarovsky Forward Line 3 - Viktor Stalberg - Matt Stajan - Nikolai Kulemin Forward Line 4 - Jiri Tlusty - John Mitchell - Colton Orr Defence Line 1 - Mike Komisarek - Tomas Kaberle Defence Line 2 - Francois Beauchemin - Luke Schenn Defence Line 3 - Ian White - Jeff Finger Starting Goalie - Vesa Toskala Backup Goalie 1 - Jonas Gustavsson Backup Goalie 2 - Curtis Joseph *Signed Cujo so he could retire as a Maple Leaf* I simmed the entire Season, No trades or anything just to see what needs improvement, see what players gain overalls after a season and how substaintial the gain was, and all that fun shit. Well My Team ended up going 55-25-2 in the season for a total of 112 Points. My Top 5 Scorers were: 1 - Jason Blake - 34G - 59A - 93 Points - 10 PIM and was a +21 2 - Phil Kessel - 36G - 51A - 87 Points - 4 PIM and was a +21 3 - Alexei Ponikarovsky - 29G - 45A - 74 Points - 4 PIM and +20 4 - Lee Stempniak - 26G - 45A - 71 Points - 17 PIM and +16 5 - Niklas Hagman - 30G - 40A - 70 Points - 4 PIM and +22 Ex - Viktor Stalberg - 22G - 15A - 37 Points - 4 PIM and +13 The Results of this season makes me wonder.... What would Pierre "dumbass" Mcguire say about the leafs this season... My guess is something like... "Move over Mr.Gustavsson, VESA TOSKALA IS THE MONSTER!" Vesa Toskala - Wins-52 Losses-23 GoalsAgainst=200 Save%=91.1 Shots Against-2246 Shutouts-4 and a wopping 2 Penalty Minutes LOL Here is my proof that this ACTUALLY happened..
