Robin Lehner just put in a similar game against the same team. Not saying that they're equal, but I'd be more excited about his .930 ish S% in Sweden.

Whoa whoa whoa here guys. I went and seen the Ottawa/Pens rookie game in Kitchener last nite. The sens 10th string AHL goalie also stopped something like 37 of 38 shots against Pittsburgh. Don't hype "the monster" up just yet. Pittsburgh's lineup at Rookie Camp blows.

I was watching the highlights and Lehner (Ottawa's G) stopped 40 of 41 shots against the pens but what really impressed me the most was the play of Nazem Kadri in the first 2 leafs games. He really stood out imo. I dont really like the leafs at all but I think they are starting to get some great young talent in and will be a great team in a year or 2.

Played in Frolunda's junior system last year, is playing for the Soo ( I think) this year. Is huge for an 18 year old and has the potential to be a starting goalie.

well AV did say he had to earn it and i've been hearing a lot that Hodgson is going to not make the team and Ryan Johnson is staying 4th line center for sure, they say its a battle between hodgson and wellwood but even if hodgson did make it, it wouldnt work out
this is because the nucks dont have enough cap to pay hodgson's bonuses, so yeah.

Incase you didn't it's "2009-10 NHL Season Hype Thread" Let us Leafs fans hype our goalie, if he doesn't turn out whatever, but don't be so negative just because you're a Habs fan. Speaking of the Habs, I'm really curious to see how they do this year and I think I'll be watching more of their games this year, and I'm interested in seeing how Leclaire does in Ottawa.

Speaking of Leclaire, he got some new pads in old fashioned Sens barber pole pattern.
