we don't want all of the value on Legends though. I will gladly trade for Legends if people don't want them. They always work for me

This is stupid. Why encourage me to post suggestions when literally every single suggestion I have posted gets no consideration and gets this reply? Why not just replace this whole board title with "Eat a Dick and love it cause we told you to"? That's pretty much what it is, always has been, and always will be here. we don't want all of the value on Legends though. I will gladly trade for Legends if people don't want them. They always work for me Cool. I think you are the only one. People grab the guys they want, lock them up (so those legends are unattainable), then just move around the garbage legends who have no value. Whatevs. This was mostly a suggestion for others, since I have the legends I want and I'll be locking them up like everyone else, but just thought it might open up some more trade routes, as jmcook is the only one who ever touches the old legends - and usually just to take them off someones hands who didn't want them to begin with, haha. I literally have 5-10 different suggestions for how to solve the "too many legends" problem. But I know the reply they will get here in the suggestion box. If anyone gives a damn about them, PM me. |

No, it's not stupid, it's stupid the fact that you can't take no for an answer. Sure, post some suggestions, it doesn't mean that we're going to be doing them and I'm not going to sit here all night and debate with you something that is extremely minor and has worked for 30 seasons here now, and was put in place for a reason. Although they really don't seem to be suggestions, more so complaints. I'm sorry you feel that way, but we aren't going to do every suggestion you post just based on the fact that you like them. Thus far, you have just posted one suggestion since I've taken over and we didn't like it, move on. Stop trying to act like you're trying to start a revolution here. Just because Quinn has left doesn't mean we're going to start changing everything about this league. I understand this is minor suggestion, but we'd rather not do it, so let's not act like we're trying to tell our members to suck a dick. Do you really think making these legends 17 will make every want to give up their players for them? They still hold value, they are 87+ players and perform that way. |

Thus far, you have just posted one suggestion since I've taken over It's my second, but thanks for noticing... And yes, Isles, i did noticethe loaded value of those old legends, based on there not being a single one on your team...hmmm
Here's what pisses me off about this site. You, and Quinn before you (not so much JM), act like if someone suggests something, they hate the site. Ya wanna know why I suggest stuff? 1) I come on the site. (which I do about 10-30 times a day) 2) I look around. 3) I get bored. 4) I say, "what could be something exciting to do?" 5) I say, "holy shit, if ___ was like ____ I would be totally pumped to do that!" 6) I suggest the change because that change AS MINOR AS YOU THINK IT IS, would drasticlly improve my experience on this site. Is anything WRONG with the site as it sits? Who knows. That was never the point of ANY of my suggestions. I get tired of this, "If you don't like the perfect-as-Jesus-on-a throne-in-heaven-EA NHL SIM, then shut up and quit" attitude, when all I am ever making suggestions for are ways to make it funner. Having sent out about 14 offers for various different players that interested me and getting 13 "I am never moving ___", I figured, "well, I COULD start collecting old Legends - but if I need them for auctions they are worthless...maybe we could fix that". |
