I think its fair to say we are running out of Legend options. We are on our 30th anniversary here, which is completely unheard of. We've been through so much compared to other sites I feel we should have a new set of legends come in that were great on this site exclusively. Bring back some classic names.
I was thinking this...
LW Victor Ohman SNP
RW Oleg Petrov PLY (was a DNG, but what can you do)
RW Mattias Weindhandl GRN
C Michal Bros PLY
D Kenny Jonsson OFD
Other names can be suggested or found. We can put up the argument for those players here. The ratings would be 91-93 kind of deal.
These 5 guys were amazing back in the day and I think it'd be cool to make them relevant again. I think Bros is on a team somewhere so we'd have to give that team another 80 C, i think that's what he is.... I have Ohman and I'll give him up to have him a legend, I'd also make the fuck sure I'd get him lmao. We also haven't had high rated legends for a long time, the highest we go now is 88, but that's obviously for a reason. These guys play equivalent to a 90 back in NHL 09 and NHL 10, I think it'd be really neat.

We could also do polls on here for players guys want.
Personally, I was a huge Palffy fan when I was a kid. I'd love to see him as a legend.
We could make a suggestion thread, people post names and than each year we put it a vote. Top guys get in. The guys you mentioned can also be voted upon.

Yes, I always forget about some of the guys until they are brought up here. Ziggy was a great player also

Tim Connolly will be let go to auctions like usual and he would be the all time EANHL09 Legend. It was automatic to win if you had him back then.

Denis Denisov was a superb d-man.
What happens after this year though? Will we have to change things around?

Tim Connolly will be let go to auctions like usual and he would be the all time EANHL09 Legend. It was automatic to win if you had him back then. I was thinking these other guys aren't in the league anymore, but its fair to say connolly won't be either for too long |

No, they would just remain the newest legends. I think if anything it'll help revamp the Auctions as well since we haven't seen these 90s players in a long time. The three I would 100% would like to see in Year one is Ohman Petrov and Weindhandl, and I'm sure you guys know I would make damn sure I get Ohman haha. We could possibly introduce more then 5 legends that year as well, maybe 7 and make it a one time thing? |

Seems like everyone wants to do it, it'll come down to who exactly. I guess post all the suggestions in this thread and later on in the season we will get a poll going to figure out the top guys.
