I know many have wondered over the years exactly what I have and what I go through. This picture pretty much puts it all out. When I was about 30 years old I saw one of the top Fibro specialists in the country and he told me I was the worst case he had ever seen and that I would probably be in a wheelchair by the time I hit 40. I am 45 now and still fighting and still attempting to play baseball. I have spent the past two weeks getting stress tests and heart tests to try and get cleared to be able to go back to work part time. So far so good and I thank you guys,as this site and sim comunity has helped me a great deal both as a distraction and at times as an inspiration to keep fighting. I am very glad I have become part of this. Thank You

You're an inspiration Phoenix. Not only for your toughness and perseverance through the fybromyalgia, but also your dedication and insanely hard work for this site, and now GM Pro as well. Keep up the great work, bro. And kids, if you want someone to model some very positive traits after, jmcook is the man. When most simmers in the sim world can't sim for a week, jmcook has been doing it consistently and awesomely for, what, 7 years now, across countless sites? Again, hats off to ya bro.

I don't think we can thank you enough for putting in all the work you have done for this sim league. It's been a distraction and a great place to chill with you peeps.
What work would you be doing if you were cleared, btw?

Just noticed this with the bump.
Seems like a shit hand to be dealt, but you're fighting your way through it. Really is amazing. Anytime you can prove the doctors wrong when they say things like 'you're liking going to need a wheelchair' is special.
Best wishes! Hope you get back to doing what you love/like, I know you will!

OK, more tests needed. But it isn't a no so I guess that is something. They want to figure out why my heart rate is high.

All I can say is wow. good job fighting Yotes. Keep fighting for what you love to do man. As long as you have something to strive for, the body is capable of amazing things and hopefully you are able to keep going strong.
I also have to echo the many thank you's for your dedication here and across other sim sites. It seems like it benefits all parties in many ways and it really is quite something that this has become a little community. Without your dedication, I am sure many people would have left and the people here would not be as close as they are now. Great job man!

All tests are good. Now just need some updated education and see what I want to try and do. I would have gone insane the past 5 years without this site, you guys have no idea how much I needed this place at times. I know I have driven you guys crazy at times. I am a stubborn man. I will keep this place going no matter what though as I will only be able to do part time for the first year or so.

The craziest day of my life was being told I would be in a wheelchair by the time I hit 40. I was playing semi-pro soccer for London Marconi and things were going great. I was a manager of my own store and about to be promoted to head or marketing. Then everything came crumbling down. Then now. I may actually work again. Wow what a rollercoaster ride
