I think we are on our last legs here anyway. No way. Trade are just a little more open now. The keepers thing is just an idea to generate more activity. I didn't expect it I go through. I still love this league.

Sorry nucks man but it may be. The site is falling apart. Instead of just saying accept or reject and saying i gave my opinion and people have the right to theirs, people get mad when others dont agree with them then make a big scene and to prove a point, make another lop-sided trade. Perhaps we should only be able to post accept or reject in trades and no more. that way this drama bullshit might stop.

why not just quit the whole mod thing. Only Admins interfere with trades on rare occasions where teams are ripping themselves off (because they're noobs or some other legit reason). It worked well in Spittys for countless seasons and is working well in Man too. There's not much argument or debate and it still prevents REALLY lopsided deals as admins can make the call whether or not to boot the trade or not. It's also more realistic and if non-noob GMs do it and they know what they're doing, then let them do whatever they want (unless they are literaly destroying their team for the fun of it or are about to leave). When Burke rips GMs off no one interferes and we see it happen all the time in the real NHL where sometimes, teams get ripped off.

It worked so well on Spitty's league that Carolina and his wife managed to rig the whole thing every year. I think we should give the Stanley Cup Champions a free Legend for winning the cup aswell. That should help parity in the league. Oh ya, it didn't work there either.

Makes me smile every time.

I truly think only mods should be writing in the trade section (exception being the trading GMs of course) and we should only be sayign accept/reject. Any discussion or issue with a deal should be done in the staff chat so we dont have 30 gm's voicing their opinions and then feeding off of it for future trades.

I've said numerous times that only staff GMs and the GMs involved in the trades can comment. Cor, 57587301646186789crosby, etc. appear to have forgotten that.

the problem is they know theres no punishment for doing it so they dont care. Perhaps a 24 hr suspension or something would help crosby46464sucksass5656 and others to remember the rule.

I coudn't care less who expresses there opinion. On the trade in question we had numerous Staff come on and off 4 or 5 times and nobody would even look at it. At some point somebody has to say something. Eventually I just accepted it.
