I always trade Franson for two 1sts, once I traded Liles for two 1sts as well. They get pretty sick returns

Yeah I picked Ward up in my CLB BAGM, guy's a fucking beast. Anyways I'm about 5 years in, and I had to make a shit load of trades the first year to get all the guys I have from the draft. I edited them slightly, just increasing there potential a bit. But even Yakupov (who I edited the most) still only had A- potential.

SEASON 4 My team has changed a little bit because of greedy players lol Kessel wanted an 8 year deal for 10.480M ... I got him down to 9M Versteeg wanted like 5.5 I let him go. I ended up making a few trades to gain more cap since I have a handful of rookies becoming free agents and I would like to keep a few of them (Mckegg, Muzzin, Smith-Pelly etc) Joffrey Lupul 87 - Sam Gagner 87 - Phil Kessel 91 Adam Henrique 84 - Mikael Granlund 86 - Nail Yakupov 83 Mikhail Grabovski 85 - Ryan Johansen 85 - Zach Kassian 81 Marcus Foligno 81 - Mike Zigomanis 81 - Ryan Jones 81 Dion Phaneuf 87 - Luke Schenn 88 Jake Gardiner 83 - Ryan Ellis 85 Jacub Muzzin 80 - Tomas Kaberle 81 *Picked up Kabby so he could retire as a Leaf* Cam Ward 92 Mikka Kiprusoff 85 (was actually quite cheap) Kessel had another 50 goal season (3rd in a row) Ward had another stellar year, 48 wins tho, and 12 Shutouts with a .921 sv% and a 2.09 GAA (best in league for both)

So after winning the cup with the Leafs one, I did the draft, and started free agency, signed a few players and then it froze during simulation -_-
Went back into the file and it was right at the start, so I had to re-do everything. Ended up making all the same moves before the deadline, along with a few I made at the draft and after the deadline, had almost the exact same lineup;
Lupul - Berglund - Kessel
MacArthur - Grabovski - Kulemin
Crabb - Steckel - Bozak
Brown - Brent - Palmieri
Phaneuf - Franson
Liles - Schenn
Murray - Gunnarsson
Ward
Gustavsson
I ended up grabbing Palmieri from NJ for a draft pick, and had to move some assets for Berglund this time around. Finished this season with less wins, and less points, but still won the cup. Blew a 3-0 series lead against Montreal in the ECF, then went on to beat Chicago in 7 games to win the cup.
Got to the draft, saved it, and moved on. Picked up Yakupov, Grigorenko, Dumba, Ceci and some others.
Free agency, I let a fair amount of players go, but re-signed my main guys. Last time around, I picked up Ryan Smyth, Travis Moen and Mason Raymond to fill out my bottom 6, but this time, only Ryan Smyth made it to free agency. I ended up signing him and Eric Fehr.
About to start season 2 with this lineup;

All simming, finished 57-19-6. Top line just kills it, all had 100+ points, and Eberle finished with 55 goals. Prospect pool contains the usual suspects, Gardiner, Colborne, Voynov, Despres, Yakupov, Klefbom, Saad, Grigorenko. Should be a fun Be-A-GM. |
