As many of you are now aware, Jackets' file of the game on 360 epic failed this morning and became corrupted. Essentially, Jackets was unable to sim past the 4th on the file without it freezing.
So with this unfortunate situation in mind, we have no choice but to do a quick re-sim up until the trade deadline (March 2nd), at which point simming will resume as normal again with day-by-day posting. As Jackets noted in the cbox earlier, he will post the standings and stats leaders as they stand at the end of the quick sim, and full team player stats will be available upon request.
In order to ensure this type of catastrophic error does not repeat itself, we will be saving two files of the season on the system so that if one becomes corrupted, we will have a backup copy to turn to that would only be 1 or 2 days behind the other.
To allow teams to make changes to their roster if their team has suddenly become terrible with the re-sim, we are extending the trade deadline until 9:00 PM PST tomorrow evening (12:00 AM EST).
On behalf of Jackets and myself, I sincerely apologize for these unfortunate circumstances, and wish all of you the best of luck as we head into Season 14 for the second time
