Alright boys, we've thrown around the idea of a self-governed All-Star Game for a while now, and here we are. Season 10, we will have it for the very first time (with a variation of the system used on Wynne's league, for those of you who have a team on there). Here's how it will work. In this thread, each GM will select 6 players (2 wingers, 1 center, 2 defensemen and a goalie) to be in the starting lineup for the All-Star Game (vote for the conference you are in please, so for example, my ballot would be for the East starting lineup). Along with this, you must also select 1 GM from your conference (you cannot vote for yourself) who you believe should select the rest of the team. Each GM can post 1 ballot each, no more than that. Voting will conclude once all 30 GMs in the league have filled out their ballots, or once February simming begins (whichever comes first). The game itself will be simmed by Jackets after February 14th (during the in-game "Olympic" break). Upon the conclusion of the voting process, the 2 wingers, 2 defensemen, center and goaltender with the most votes in each conference will be elected to the All-Star Game's starting lineup for their respective conference. The GM in each conference who received the most votes will select the rest of the team. As of now, there are no prizes in order for this, but that is subject to possible change, so keep your ears open. Use my ballot as an example if you are confused. If you have any further questions or concerns, don't hesitate to let me know. TEAMS WITH COMPLETED BALLOTS:

Wow! What a shock. The Pens GM has 4 of the 6 players as his own.......... Just like the real All-star game in Montreal, the voting is rigged! (kidding of course, or am I?)

Wow! What a shock. The Pens GM has 4 of the 6 players as his own.......... Just like the real All-star game in Montreal, the voting is rigged! Or it could be the fact that Kovalchuk and Crosby are two of the league's leading scorers, Chara is one of the top defense scorers, and Luongo is one of the top goalies in wins?
