4 ratings does not equal one rookie pick dude. The average player in there is like 77-78.
But, no, it's not that lopsided. You still lose, but its not lopsided. The Comrie, Antropov, Brouwer trade is garbage though. That's about 90-10 NYI.

If NYI finishes bottom 5, he keeps his pick, if he finishes anywhere else, PHX gets it.

It's actually;
79/80 77 72 for 80 78 76
the 79/80 for 80 cancels out, the 77 for 78 cancels out so its just a 76 for a 72, but that makes up for that extra 2M + gained
