To Calgary:
Martin Gerber G 83 4.100 (UFA 2011) Jonathan Bernier G 79 0.850 (RFA 2011) Blake Comeau RW 77 0.900 (UFA 2013) Rob Blake D 76 5.000 (UFA 2010) Rookie Pick 2012 BOS Rookie Pick 2013 BOS
To Boston:
Mikka Kiprusoff G 91 5.833 (UFA 2014) Justin Pogge G 77 0.675 (RFA 2010) Anthony Stewart C 74 0.650 (UFA 2012) Mike Lundin D 72 0.775 (RFA 2010)
Here's my explanation for this trade. 1, it's fair. I get a young backup in Bernier, a solid right winger in Comeau, Gerber who's an 83, a veteran presence upgrade on D in Blake over Lundin, and a 2012 rookie pick that brings my pick total to 7 in the next 3 years. I'm in a rebuilding phase, and trading away my best asset (kipper) will allow me to lose games down the stretch and draft higher.
Boston essentially gets Kipper and then 2 forth line guys that wouldn't crack anyone else's roster. Boston is going for his run right now, I'm going for mine in about a year or two.
It's the right decision for my club at this time.
I accept.

Exactly, I've essentially dealt away a significant part of my team and youth moving forward to Calgary for a goaltender. I accept.

I don't think adding a 77 really matters..
Age doesn't matter either..

I also don't agree with trying to lose..

I know, that's why I'm happy to expand the depth of my defense core, and adding a 77 really does matter considering I lack anything substantial on the right side. I'm asking this trade to be accepted, and I'm (arguably) slightly losing on it. It's not like Boston's begging, I am, I want these players, I want his pick and I want to lose games.

Maybe if Boston adds 3 more rookie picks...

I'll accept as Boston had no depth to begin with and will have to play these guys

Boston has agreed to add his 2013 pick. Trade is modified with pick included. Hope that satisfies the swing votes.

You realize we haven't even done the 2010 draft right Flames? The first pick isn't for another 2 seasons.

I know, but since a season goes by in about 2 months, that means by april, I'll have my team exactly how I want it.
