To be honest, I agree with Anaheim. It's lazy to not just pull guys over and re-name them and edit them for future drafts, even let people make themselves with a designated overall to their draft position instead of bringing in oldtimers. It turns this primarily into a retro site and the keeper thing is stupid if you look at what everyone's done to acquire their trades. Now a few teams are great, but the unpredictable playoffs won't be taken into consideration at all, no, we'll just resort to stripping the teams.
It's crap.

Dude, you're a smart guy, and I don't want you to leave (Who knows what kind of idiot could potentially take your spot) but you gotta let these things go. I can completely understand your frustration because some of the old leagues I was in refused to let anyone but the admins have a say in anything. If you put all this energy into creating peace on earth, than you could probably do it

Calgary;
You can't say it is just being lazy. This wasn't Detroit's decision. Pittsburgh came up with the idea. I don't mind going no-cap, and I wouldn't mind staying cap. I'm sure Detroit would have done that with pleasure.

Has nothing to do with the no-cap, has everything to do with the protection, because I want to protect more players instead of drafting old guys lol

Why does it matter, we kinda have 2 leagues that are going to be basically joined.
The thing is, I know if I draft a player that I know a certain guy really wants, I'd be willing to trade him to said person because I'm not a complete jackass, or course I may not be willing to do this for every guy I draft, but for example, Flames if I somehow ended up drafting one of the Schenn's and you still had the other one, I'd trade him back to you.
That's how thise site works, the community we have for the most part is pretty awesome.
Edmonton and my league is gonna be pretty much the exact same as this league before going no-cap, so don't worry about it.

I honestly think that bringing in legends and all this new "cool" things happening to this site will make it shit. I think we had a good thing going and now these changes will ruin the site.

I disagree with the legends thing too, or the way were doing it anyways, but we can't always have stuff our way.
As for going no cap, and the draft, I like it, it makes it more interesting.

I like the no cap, but I'm a traditionalist for drafting. Maybe if the league didn't sim a season in 4 days it wouldn't be so difficult.

lol Flames, that's not what I meant, I meant we'll have options and I'd like to see the guys from this site, come over to Edmonton and my site, but stay a member here to, the community we have is awesome.

I believe it, you and Edmonton are good guys. But me and my bro (Boston) also built stupid decent teams, him more so, and to have to protect only half that team blows, I mean look at me, I'm all depth, it's hard not to protect a single one of those guys.

I understand this completely, it's hard for me too, probably not as much, but when I was going through my roster and I had to pick the last 2 spots, it was just kinda like "Alright this guy and this guy, no wait, this guy and that guy, no, hmmm".

haha yeah, if I could protect 2 full lines, id be happy, but by protecting the schenn's, doughty, phaneuf, i basically only get to protect 3 forwards or 2 forwards and me number 1 goalie, and just, damn
