If thats Jack Johnson than you can pretty much forget that trade. He's far too valuable to the Kings future than Kaberle. It really doesn't matter what their lineup looks like now, they'll need to replace 4 of their top ten goal scorers through Giguere, Sjostrom and Phaneuf.

I should also add that Wilson needs to stop with the free flowing/offensive minded game if he wants to win. Waaaay to many turnovers as it was without Phaneuf on the blue line.

Yup, time to get a defensive minded coach in here stat, sorry Burke, I like Wilson too but, it's time to say goodbye (I'll give you until the deadline just so you don't have to fire him before the Olympics)

Well, Lemaire was available. Missed the boat there. Hitchcock may be available soon, though he has a history of not working well with prospects/young players.

Hitch is the coach you hire if you want to take a run at the cup. I don't think he would work well with a young core.

we have a young core though... (Kessel, Phaneuf, Gustavsson)... so he's not our coach. We will have to see who's fired at seasons end I guess

Agreed Jersey, still a terrible team, but I'd say better after these moves than before.

This is what I was thinking, as a healthy line-up.
Kulemin - Bozak - Kessel Ponikarovsky - Grabovski - Stempniak Stalberg - Mitchell - Sjostrom Rosehill - Primeau - Orr
Kaberle - Phaneuf Beauchemin - Komisarek Gunnarsson - Schenn
Gustavsson Giguere
Not sure what else Burke has up his sleeve, but I left Exelby off there as he will be dealt, and I guess Phaneuf and Komisarek could be swapped, but whatever, just a rough idea. Gustavsson is going to be the starter, Leaf fans should know that. Wilson said the other week that Gustavsson will be playing the bulk of the remaining games. Giguere will gets starts, but Gustavsson will play more.

As a Sens fan, I hope Dion and Komi are on the same pairing.
