I said cap league to tie it up If you do start a cap, but decide that it's better to go no cap, you can, if you start off no-cap and want to change it to cap, you can't because it will fuck many teams over. Having a cap kind of keeps a balance. I wouldn't mind being a PR either (just saw Cor's post above)

It kills me when PR's waive a NTC over and over again. I think you might get them to waive more than once.

That would be my exact reasoning for not having a PR. It doesn't make a league more realistic, at all IMHO. Sure you have NTC/NMC's being used but how realistic is it that the same player waives his clause 4 times in a month? None whatsoever. Same thing goes with signings/re-signings. From my experience with a PR, you will only get the player if you offer the most money and offer a NTC/NMC in the deal. Sure it's not the same everywhere, but usually it is, which I don't like.

If you did decide to go with a Cap league, I wouldn't mind being a PR. I think it can really add to the realism if done right (which it often isn't, but hey I'd like to try lol).
But for the record, I voted no cap.

Cap gets impossible to manage after a view years, and also means no legends, keeper draft, etc. In this new era of game they're really hard to run, which is why our site switched.

If the league is cap, it needs a PR. Free agency and stuff is a fucking gong show without one.

You don't need legends and rookies (maybe 1 draft) in a cap league. Free agency is nuts (more exciting than no cap). Because NHL 10 (assuming that's what you are using) has no-cap, it's easy to move guys around, so you just have to watch the cap in the league.

I love the Cap leagues. You really have to think about where you spend you money. You have to be a real Manager. You can always build a contender out of nothing with a cap. I am dieing to see a good cap league.

Philly, I'm all for a cap league, but if you do it, it's gotta have a PR.

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't go with a PR if it is cap. I would figure something out for Free Agency and everything else, I've already got some ideas, but I really don't see it having a PR.

you have acouple guys that are volunteering to be the PR. Just comunicate with them what you would like to see. If you all have the goals for the league it should work
