Well anyways, we're starting the 2011 season, I don't remember if I made any offseason moves, but hey, whatever.

Anyways we end up losing to Ottawa for our season opener, 3-2 is the score, Grabs and Haggy with the goals for us.

As for the rest of October, well it was filled with the fucking Islanders throwing all of their guys on waivers, no one good though.

And bossman wants playoffs this year, well, alright.

We end up having a pretty solid month finishing 9-5 including an 8-6 win over Philly.

God damnit Isles, I don't want Bruno Gervais, god.

November, I hate November it's when it starts getting cold out, I should have taken that job in Anaheim.

the team keeps powering through, even when injuries start to occur, both Law and Bozak missed some time for us. And I swear every team in the league has put their backup on waivers.

We finish off strong, 18-8-1.

Fuck it, let's sim right to the deadline.

The team heads into the deadline, we started losing pretty badly, but the boys picked it up before the deadline, our record is 35-26-2

We trade Mueller and Mitchell for Parise, our new top line is Parise - Richards - Kessel.
-Well that was a boring TD, let's see if we can stay winning.

We finish the season with a record of 45-33-4 good enough for 5th in the east.

Regular season scoring leaders for the team were:
Goals: Kessel with 33 (Grabs and Parise each had 30)
Assists: Kessel with 57 (Richards with 49, then Kabs with 47)
Points: Kessel with 90 (Poni with 73, Richards with 70)
PIM: Richards with 89 (Beauch with 38, Komi with 33)

Goals: Crosby with 55 (Heatley with 49 and Gaborik with 47)
Assists: Turris with 65 (Gaborik and Franson with 63)
Points: Gaborik with 110 (Crosby with 107 and Vanek with 103)
PIM: Boogard with 234 (Neil with 187 and Cote with 186)

Playoff time!
We play the Thrashers in round 1.
-We split the first 2 games, a win each, the next 2 games are in Toronto, crucial to get these wins....we get 1 of the 2, series is still tied, 2 a piece.

-Back to Atlanta for game 5, and we lose 5-4, Richards, Kulemin, Grabs and Poni score our goals.

-We need to win game 6 back in the ACC or we're eliminated. We end up losing a heart breaker 4-3, we were down 4-0 and managed to score 3 but just couldn't tie it up.

Stanley Cup Finals:
Minnesota vs Pittsburgh - Pens win in 6 games to win the Stanley Cup

Calder Cup Finals:
Springfield vs Toronto - Springfield wins it in 4 to take the Calder Cup

We're live at the 2012 entry draft, my scouts say I should try and nab:
RW Tim Brunette
D Drew Konowalchuk
C Eric Vigilante
LW Miroslav Orszagh
D Dimitri Zyuzin

In the first round I drated Vigilante, great last name and a lot of interest in him.

I trade Parise and an aging Kaberle to Columbus for Rick Nash and Chris Campoli. Parise had a disapointing season and I've had my eyes on Nash.

We draft Stuart Zongoni in round 2 and Armstrong in the 3rd.

Not a lot of good offers, all minor deals, not even worth posting.

In the 4th and 5th we take John Zigomanis and Kirk Cooke.

Re-signing phase, we need to re-sign Wilson, Hagman, Stajan, Beauchemin and Grabovski. Out of those I sent offers to Wilson, Grabs, Stajan and Hagman, along with the draftees. Finger and Beauch are both getting older and un-needed.

Everyone I offered extensions to re-signed.

No notable Free Agents that we need.

I'm short on time so I'll just sim October for now. Our current lineup is:
