I just got here, i understand why this is kind of a issue but it really shouldn't be, I'm not being bias here, but the rules do say that once a players bid $10,060,000 the player is automatically yours, so that means it would affect the first rule of min bid of 100k

The winning bid did NOT do that. That is what this WHOLE thing comes down to.

Also, just my insight, not his answer, I see nothing wrong with bidding for more than you plan on winning - I am bidding on about 3 extra guys so if I lose some i have backups.

exactly it is all in the interpretation. Lets just clarify it now and move on. Just like any arguement you can go on and on forever arguing both sides.

Cause its in the rules. RIGHT NOW, though, I would put up LESS of a fight, because they should have read this whole mess. So right now, there is some lee-way.

i think the rule is very simple, yes u gotta bid 100k more that the previous bid, but once you hit the max you cant bid that extra 40k so it is just reduced and automatically given to that team

One that is NOT here in the original post, and NOT mentioned anywhere else. As a CLAUSE, it MUST be mentioned. Otherwise, it means shit. It is an assumption.

no its a rule it clear states that any team that bids 10.06m will automatically be given that player

But you CAN NOT bid that when the previous guy bid 10,000,000. It says so in the rules. You MUST bid 100,000 more, and the max you can bid is 10,060,000. I don;t see how you think you are making sense. In legal terms, I would win, and in technical, grammatical terms I would win. WHere do you win other than assumption?

You can't change the damn rules half way through, sorry jersey but this one goes to tampa hands down, no contest. Don't do a fucking vote on a mistake YOU made, accept the mistake and move on.

dude it doesnt say that "But you CAN NOT bid that when the previous guy bid 10,000,000" nowhere does it say that... and no you wouldnt win in technical because ur breaking a rule where 'if a player bids 10.06m they automatically get the player' and i am breaking the '100k minimum bid' rule
so either way we both lose the argument
and does it look like i care about my grammar? this is suppose to be a fun sim league...

No, you don't get it. At NO POINT am I breaking a rule because the "winning bid" of 10,0600,000 CAN NOT LEGALLY BE MADE. So the bidding stalemates at 10,000,000, and Tampa gets the player. You cannot automatically get the player with an illegal bid. And I mean grammar in terms of the language of the rules - I don;t give a damn about your grammar. I mean the language in the RULES are clear. Unless someone is manipulating something, the player goes to Tampa...
