I know the NHL teams. But having to keep track of the which minor league teams goes with what team is a Pain in the ass especailly when it has no affect on the game. And no I can't keep a file as that would be more work than actaully moving them.

Put the players not on the roster on the correct AHL team. NJ-Albany WSH-Hershey TO-Toronto etc. There is a 30 man limit in the AHL, but no team will have 54 total players. (30 AHL + 24 NHL).

Ok so lets just keep going the way we are it's been working so far. I will just take the time that every other league takes between seasons. I believe the standard is about 2 months

I will require the bids in auctions to stat which team the player plays for to make it easier for me. If you bid with your NHL team and he was in your minors the bid does not count.

It was a legitimate question... I don't understand the confusion. I'm just curious why you can't seem to do it but I can. Trying to help out, make it easier on you..
I have no problem with the player cap, I already stated this.

Some of you just need to start sharing the wealth auction-wise. I must say, it's fairly troubling to have Vancouver winning 11 of the auctions every set when I do the winners

I just hate when people bid a guy that's the same overall (bidding an 82 for an 82 for example) it just annoys me. Nothing wrong with it, but for some reason I've always been annoyed with it.
Edit;
What if we put in a cap on the number of auctions you can win? Say for example you can only win 5 auctions max each time.

My last 4 auctions wins I've given up 7 players. I already AM doing the roster trimming. I don't see what the problem is..
The only reason I have these extra players is from the bonus draft. I never, or hardly ever, trade 2 for 1 deals, 3 for 2, etc.

I always get players from the Bonus draft but have always used them for auctions every year. Anything over 30 send the game sends players everywhere. I don't know why this happens. But considering you can only have so many under NHL contract I would imagine that would be it. As for why it happens on my game and not on yours I have no idea. Maybe I will take next offseason to try and figure it out. I don't get why this is an issue. I know now why I want a cap league though THIS SUCKS

I cut my roster size by 2 last auctions, hopefully by the end of the next ones I'll be under 30!
